Guaraci-Anga Produções presents the new GAROA AWARDS - Bimonthly Film Festival of São Paulo.

 

Guaraci-Anga's GAROA AWARDS is an unique festival that aims to promote independent filmmakers from all around the world.  Each and every film will be judged very carefully by professional filmmakers. All films are treated with dignity and respect as a work of art. ​

 

The festival was established in the city of São Paulo, the largest capital in Latin America, known for concentrating cultures from different countries of the world in the same city. And that is our intention with GAROA AWARDS. In its first season (2020-2021) received more than 380 films from over 56 countries! And now we are aiming for new horizons with a brand new design but the same dedication to our honorable filmmakers!

 

The city has the nickname "TERRA DA GAROA". Garoa means light rain, a city that is always bathed by these delicate waters.
